Which is better PMP or ITIL?

Which is more valuable of the two - PMP or ITIL? PMP versus ITIL. these are the common confusions around the world today for any project managers.

IS PMP and ITIL country specific? Is PMP valid only in US and ITIL in UK and Europe?
