Function/Multimedia keys can be enabled/disabled from Windows Mobility Center. It can be launched from the Program menu or by Pressing Windows and 'X' simultaneously.
Under the function key row select the appropriate action:

A friend of mine can not get her dell laptop to work her grandson set it up an wont let her have the right password how do u start it back how can i fix it for her all it says is her email and enter password when u turn it on we dont know the password how do u get it fixed does anyone know how do u get it to start over so u can get it to come on the way it should
